domestic robot example, failed to execute action time.check(T)

BOURDIL Pierre-Alain

Hi,

I’m learning jason and have an error on the domestic robot example (from the distribution).

It says : “[HouseEnv] Failed to execute action time.check(T) “

Is there a way to make this action success ?

Version: Neon.2 Release (4.6.2)

Java 1.8_121

Jasonide_feature           1.0.19.201609221352

Thanks

Re: domestic robot example, failed to execute action time.check(T)

Jomi Hubner
Salut Pierre-Alain,

It is great you are learning Jason!

You are right, this is an execution error. I tried to reproduce it here, but the example runs fine for me.

Did you run the Jason configuration before? (the step 3 of http://jason.sourceforge.net/mini-tutorial/eclipse-plugin/)

Could you also check if other error messages are shown before the one you mention?

All the best,

Jomi

Re: domestic robot example, failed to execute action time.check(T)

Jomi Hubner
Good, I suspected that.

so, you have to also copy the folder “time” from the original project to yours. That folder contains the java implementation of the internal action time.check.

if you are using unix, you can run the application using

        jason DomesticRobot.mas2j

in the original directory (http://jason.sourceforge.net/mini-tutorial/getting-started/shell-based.html).
